The Heroes School Of Strategic Missions has been developed to facilitate strategic leaders for effective missions in this changing world. It is critical to understand the times in which we live and how to best utilize available resources to get the Gospel to the greatest number of people in the least amount of time. Through SOSM we endeavor to prepare you to successfully target and engage previously unreached people groups, to recognize strategic “seasons of opportunity” for the evangelization of a people or country, and to approach urban ministry with a frontiers emphasis.
OVERVIEW
The Heroes School of Strategic Missions is a course for DTS graduates to develop strategies, perspective, and a deeper understanding of how to participate in reaching the unreached world. The SOSM aims to train up new missionaries to go unto the ends of the earth and spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. Whether it is starting up a new ministry or joining an existing front line team, the SOSM will better prepare you to understand the history of missions and your role within the missions movement. The school includes a three-month teaching phase followed by a two-month outreach. We encourage individuals or mission teams to travel to their target location for this outreach phase.
